Preparing your invitations

• When you order your invitations consider the type of paper you are ordering. Some dark colored envelopes can be difficult to work with.
  
  
• Please send your guest list as clear as possible. Check spelling, addresses and proper zip codes. Do not abbreviate streets, city, state or names. Make sure you include the proper title for every guest (Mr., Mrs., Ms.).
  
  
• Mrs. is used only for widows, or if a married lady is attending alone. The rest should be addressed as “Ms.”
  
  
• In cases where the married woman keeps her maiden name and attends with her husband, the protocol is to write the husband in one line and the lady in second line.

For couples living together would be the same situation we described above but without the preposition “and”

Make sure you include on your list full names instead of nicknames.

Prices on this page are based on white or ivory envelopes written with black ink. Dark colored or lined envelopes will have an additional charge.

Repetitions:

Our work is made entirely by hand. So, please be sure to bring extra materials in case of mistakes. If mistakes are made by me, I will correct them promptly free of charge. If the mistakes are made by the client, the pieces will be charged at the same rate. Please check your lists carefully. In the event, I have not started the job yet and new additions or changes to the list have to be made there will not be an additional charge for modifications.

Turnaround time and rush orders

The regular completion time for jobs with 100 or more pieces requires 2-3 weeks in advance. Any job that has to be performed in less than 7 days will be considered a rush order. For small jobs, the regular turnaround time is 7 days. If you need something in one or two days the additional charge will be 25% extra premium to the order.

Spelling and extra material

It is responsibility of the client to check spelling and content of the list. Al Fresco Calligraphy (Elizabeth Perez Diner) encourages the client to review the envelopes carefully to ensure they are correct. Clients errors will be also charged at the same rate agreed upon. The client agrees to provide extra envelopes (at least 15-20) in case of mistakes for 100 envelopes.  Unused envelopes will be returned to the client.

Payments

Your payments can be made via Paypal, cash, personal or corporate checks.

 
Deposit

For Calligraphy work, Al Fresco Calligraphy requires 50% deposit. Please see pricing and policies of Al Fresco Murals for more details.

Shipping

The customer assumes all the costs of shipping and delivery.
